Warehouse Manager Overview: We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in the logistics sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of performance. Duties: – Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures – Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support – Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as AS400 to track inventory and shipments – Monitor profit loss statements and implement strategies for cost reduction – Coordinate transportation management systems for inbound and outbound logistics – Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness – Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency – Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimising excess stock Skills: – Proficiency in 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations – Experience with AS400 or similar warehouse management software – Strong understanding of profit loss analysis within a warehouse setting – Knowledge of transportation management systems for effective logistics coordination – Proven ability in supervising warehouse staff and fostering a positive work environment – Expertise in shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes – Dedication to continuous improvement practices to optimise warehouse operations – Background in logistics with a focus on inventory management and distribution This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Warehouse Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence within our warehouse facility.
